Rococo Gardens - Worth a Winter Visit?

Visiting a garden on a cold, overcast Wednesday in mid-January may not be everyone’s ideal day out but that’s exactly what I did last week as I headed to the Painswick Rococo Gardens in the Cotswolds. On the drive from London the sky was beautifully clear, that was until 10 miles from Painswick when we hit a wall of cloud that didn’t lift all day. We were also two weeks early to see the masses of snowdrops that the garden is famous for – one of the largest displays in the country
